Mail Forwarding for Expats

Moving abroad means many loose ends, and your mail is one of them. Asking a friend or relative to handle it works for a while, but it gets old fast. A mail forwarding service gives you a permanent US address and a reliable way to receive everything in one place.

How USAbox helps expatriates

With USAbox you get a street address in Miami, Florida. Everything that arrives is reflected in your online mailbox, with a photo of each item, so you can check your mail from anywhere in the world and decide what to do with it:

  • Forward important documents and packages to your current address.
  • Request details: ask us to open an item and send you a description or a photo of the contents (fees apply, see our plans).
  • Discard junk mail online on paid plans, so you don’t pay to ship it.
  • Keep your address if you move again: your US address stays the same.

Before you start

To receive mail delivered by USPS you must complete USPS Form 1583 in front of a representative or with a notary. See the requirements and the Form 1583 instructions. Express carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS do not require it.
